harriet regina marion

 

 

harriet regina marion is an artist from Brooklyn. Marion studied art the Kansas City Art Institute as an undergraduate and went on to get an MFA from the Maryland Institute Graduate School of Painting. She has received numerous awards and honors including grants from the Rauchenberg Foundation, and The Ida Tarbell Memorial award. She is a member of NAWA, NY Artist’s Equity, Pen and Brush and the New York Artists’ Circle as well as many other prominent arts groups. Her work has been widely exhibited in galleries and museums across the nation over a period of thirty year. Her work is mixed media, bright layered and often quite lyrical.
