about gallery submissions

We will resume reviewing portfolios after October 2007

artspace 129 accepts portfolios in all mediums and genres including, but not limited to painting, drawing, prints, & small and wall hung sculpture. we recommend sending slides or prints for a portfolio review. studio visits may be arranged once an initial review is completed. Art generally should not exceed 40" in any direction.

submissions should include at least:

• a slide identification sheet, including retail prices
• artists statement
• professional resume
• & images

please include SASE for return of materials. Materials sent without a SASE will not be returned.
materials reviews are scheduled quarterly.

The mission and goals for artspace 129 is to offer exposure to contemporary visual artists thru exhibitions, events as well as on-line.

artspace 129 is dedicated to featuring the work of established and emerging visual artists. though there is a special sensitivity toward regional artists, the gallery will consider showing the work of any visual artist for exhibition. artspace 129 aims to educate, inform and enlighten visitors of all ages and backgrounds through continuous exhibitions and related programming.

special calls for artists

*the gallery is interested to see work by artist couples - where both partners are creative. Their work need not be related or in the same discipline. artists should send work together.

**contemporary drawing is interested in works on paper and contemporary interpretations of drawing.
